Day 303 Covered Portage Cove

Point Au Baril Lighthouse from a few days ago

There are so many fantastic anchorages in this area in the North Channel that there is no way to sample all of them. It is so whisper quiet you hear nothing but wildlife and the wind. There are very few cottages, and cities are far and few between. There are thousands of uninhabited islands, no fishing boats, no wave runners and very few cruisers. This is the premier anchorage, well protected by high bluffs. I think there are 15 boats here, although there is room for more but you hear people talking, generators run, etc. We did do some badly needed cleaning on the boat.

Unless Tom wants to blog, I won’t update this for a few days until or unless something exciting happens. We’ll just be moving from one beautiful anchorage to another. This is a rough life!
